Drive motor cycles off and

on rapidly when the speed

switch is set to

 ExGentle

.

Remove the rear panel from the

console, set the speed switch to

ExGentle

 and disconnect the wire from

terminal 3 of the speed switch. Measure

the resistance between terminals 1 and

3 of the speed switch.

Drive motor cycles off and on rapidly when

speed switch is set to ExGentle.

Note: Always check wiring
to the components.

Defective speed switch.

Defective  timer

or wiring.

Disconnect power, set the

timer to wash, remove the front panel

and unplug the harnesses from the drive

motor.  Measure the resistance between pin

2 in the small motor plug to pin 9

in the large motor plug.

Zero.

Unplug the wires from the sensor and

measure the resistance of the sensor.

Is the reading 50K ± 2%?
