Washer completely

inoperative.

Unplug the washer, pull the

timer knob out and raise the top. Using an

Ohmmeter check the resistance between the

H terminal on the power plug and the

input terminal of the Lid lock.

Infinity.

Zero.

Disconnect the plug from

the drive motor and

measure the resistance

between pins 3 and 7 of

the motor.

Reconnect power,

remove the consoles back

panel, disconnect the line

cord and measure the

voltage between the two

outside pin in the line cord.

120 VAC.

Defective line cord

or no power at the

outlet.

Defective

timer.

Zero.

Defective wiring.

Defective lid

switch.

Washer completely inoperative.

Note: Always check wiring to the components.

Remove the wires from

the lid switch. With the lid

down, measure the resistance

of the switch.
