Leakage current tester 92-4A / 92-4D / 92-2E
MENU SYSTEM
PAC - Patient Auxiliary Current
- Measurement of the auxiliary
current generated by the application part of the IUT which flows
through the patient. Application for medical equipment only,
according to EN 60601-1.
PLC - Patient Leakage Current "B / BF / CF"
- Measurement of
the leakage current flowing from the application part to ground.
Application for medical equipment only, according to
EN 60601-1.
"B / BF / CF"
- Indicates the protection degree of the item under
test against electric stroke (to EN 60601-1(2.1.24 ff)).
B - protection against electric stroke
BF - increased protection against electric stroke
CF - higher protection against electric stroke than BF
During these tests the application part of the test item will be applied to
an auxiliary voltage.
The instrument types BF and CF are only available with the additional
measurement system "Medical equipment" (Optional feature).
Chapter 4.8 describes the input of the values.
Measurement data to be determined
- depending on the selected reg-
ulatory standard the evaluation is required to certain measurements.
The test unit then provides the accompanying limit value parameters.
all values - determines all for the regulary standards relevant
measurements (EN60601, EN 60065, EN61010).
Peak value, peak value measurement (EN60065, EN60598,
EN61558, EN60335 classII)
DC component of the leakage current (EN60601-1, EN60065,
EN61558)
AC-component of the leakage current (EN60601-1)
true rms - rms value of the leakage current (EN60950, EN61010,
EN60335 classI)
average value of the leakage current (EN50144-1, EN61029-1)
Note:
The measuring system is measuring the average value of
the current. The measured current value is displayed multiplied by
factor 1.111. The displayed current corresponds to the r.m.s. value
at sine form.
Max. leakage current "0.005 .... 10 mA"
- enter the maximum permissible
leakage current which can flow during a leakage current measurement.
If the set limit is exceeded, a fault is signalled.
Depending on the relevant regulations, according to which the measure-
ment is performed, it is distinguished between the maximum values:
Max. leakage current (mA) - for EN50,144-1, EN60335/IEC60335-1,
EN60598-1, EN60065, EN61029-1, EN60950 and EN61558
Max. leakage current NC (mA) - for EN61010, EN60601-1+2
Max. leakage current SFC (mA) - for EN61010, EN60601-1+2
