The manufacturer recommends to conclude a maintenance contract with the
local sales agency or a special safety inspection agreement. The maintenance
contract comprises all in section 3 described maintenance activities and additi-
onally the safety inspection agreement.
The safety inspection agreement includes only the tests according “Guidelines
of liquid sprayers“ (see section 2.6.2) and “Emissions regulations“ (see section
2.6.4).
3.2.1 Daily maintenance
Check daily or after approx. 8 hours of operation the operation pressure of the
High Pressure Cleaner with deactivated burner.
If the pressure is 5 bar over the original pressure value (see factory test re-
port), descale the high pressure cleaner (see section 3.2.7, descaling the High
Pressure Cleaner).
3.2.2 Weekly maintenance
Check weekly or after approx. 40 hours of operation the oil level in the gear
box of the high pressure pump through the oil sight glass.
Change low quality oil (milky etc.) according to section 3.2.6.
If the oil level is below the lower mark, ll up or change the gear box oil (use
only the high quality oil recommended in section 3.2.6).
Clean also after one week or approx. after 40 hours of operation the water
lter in the oat valve ( oat container).
3.2.3 Monthly maintenance (or after 150 operating hours) for series HS
For monthly maintenance (or after 150 operating hours) of series HS proceed
as follows:
• Remove ame tube.
• Inspect, or on condition, clean or adjust fuel oil lter, ignition electrodes and
ame plate (see gure 14).
