2.2.8 Installing the detergent supply
Use only cleaning detergent or chemicals recommended by the
manufacturer EHRLE. Otherwise the High Pressure Cleaner
safety may be affected.
Install the detergent container (9 and 10, gure 1) maximum 0,8 m (bottom
level) below the bottom of the central unit. The detergent container may be
installed above the bottom level of the central unit.
A magnetic valve controls the chemical or cleaning detergent ow.
This prevents uncontrolled over ow of the cleaning detergent in the
oat container or backwards into the detergent container.
2.2.9 Installing the high pressure pipes
Only specially trained and quali ed personal are allowed to install
the high pressure pipes.
For installation of the high pressure pipes observe the regulations VDMA sheet
24 416 „Stationary installed high pressure cleaning systems, conception,
speci cations, installations and testing“. This regulation is obtainable by the
„Beuth Verlag, 50939 Cologne“.
All component parts have to be protected against mechanical, chemical,
thermal stress. If steel high pressure pipes are used observe in dimensioning
the DIN 2413.
Dimension the high pressure pipe (2, gure 2) dependent on the discharge
capacity and the quantity of simultaneous used high pressure outlets (4, gure
2) in this way, that the pressure drop in the high pressure pipe doesn’t exceed
15% of the High Pressure Cleaner operating pressure.
The length of the high pressure pipe with the dimension of 12 x 2 mm may be
up to 30 m. When using angle- or T- ttings in the high pressure pipe consider
a corresponding shortening of the high pressure pipe length.
For high pressure pipes longer than 30 m, use the pipe dimension 15 x 2.5
mm. When installing the high pressure pipe through walls and ceilings, there
should be suf cient space for insulation. High pressure pipes should be as
sembled as straight as possible. Because of thermal and pressure impacts the
high pressure pipes have to be xed compliant to the regulations with vibration
dampers and rigid pipe clamps.
