• For decommissioning the High Pressure Cleaner for a longer period switch
off the main switch (2, gure 1) and secure it against accidentially or unautho-
rized switching on again (e.g. lock main switch).
2.6 Guidelines, Regulations, Certi cates
2.6.1 Guidelines for pressure vessels and steam boiler regulation
EHRLE High Pressure Cleaners comply with the German and European
pressure vessel regulation and the steam boiler regulation. The water capacity
is less than 10 l. The High Pressure Cleaner is thus free of installation regula-
tions with respect to its boiler. For operation at temperatures higher than 100
°C, for unsupervised operation or the length of the high pressure hose
exceeds 18 m, the oil burner must be equipped with a ame monitor (standard
equipment in EHRLE HS-series).
Observe the local planning authority regulations.
2.6.2 Guidelines for liquid sprayers
For the operation of High Pressure Cleaners in Germany and Europe the
regulation „Guidelines for liquid sprayers“ issued by the Main Association of
German Employers‘ Liability Insurance Associations is valid. This guidelines
could be obtained from Carl Heymanns Verlag KG, Luxembourger Street 449,
50939 Cologne, Germany.
In accordance with the „Guidelines of liquid sprayers“ High Pressure Cleaners
have to be checked from a specialist every 12 month and the result of the
testing must be recorded in writing.
Record the check results in the test certi cate contained in this operating
instructions annex.
The manufacturer EHRLE provides specially trained personal for the High
Pressure Cleaner maintenance and repair.
