motor
overhea
ts
The motor is
overheated because
of the environment:
(
1
)
The
temperature of the
working environment
is high;
(
2
)
The motor is
covered.
High ambient temperature
and covering the motor will
affect the heat dissipation and
cause overheating.
(
1
)
Decrease the ambient
temperature. If the operation
environment has heat source,
improve the heat insulation of the
protective clothing;
(
2
)
Improve the ventilation
conditions around the motor.
The motor is
overheated because
of inappropriate
operating conditions:
(
1
)
unmatched
parameters;
(
2
)
improper
program commands
(
3
)
load exceeding
allowable values.
The three conditions will
lead to the motor working in
an abnormal state, increase of
the average current value,
and overheating.
Properly set parameters and program
commands according to the operation
manual. Control the load within the
allowable range.
other faults that may
cause the motor
overheat
(
1
)
Abnormality at the
joints cause overload and
overheating of the motor.
(
2
)
motor failure
(
1
)
Check the joints of the robot
whose motor is overheated, which
involve external interference and
damage of internal components. If
abnormality is detected, contact our
after-sales service department for
repair and replacement;
(
2
)
If changing the motor
eliminates overheating, the original
motor is in failure.
joints
cannot
be
locked
The joints fail to
lock, so they cannot
stay at the designated
position and may fall
under the influence
of gravity.
(
1
)
Wear or circuit faults
cause invalid brake of the
motor.
(
2
)
The sealing fails and the
lubricant is leaked to the
motor brake, leading to the
brake failure.
(
1
)
If the motor fails, replace it;
(
2
)
If the lubricant is leaked into
the motor which causes the brake
failure, the cause of sealing failure
needs to be found and solved before
the replacement of the motor.
