6.4.1 Configuration of the node information and priority
The participant information and the priority can also be configured using a browser via the configuration inter­
face in the Administration area of the controller; see chapter 6.2.2.
These settings can also be made on the store computer.
Procedure: Under the store computer's menu item 7 - ”Monitoring”, select submenu 3 - ”Configuration” and en­
ter the CAN bus address 126 or 127 of the Combi Gateway. At the same time, it is also checked whether the
Combi Gateway has been correctly integrated as participant in the E*LDS system.
Now - with the corresponding rights - both the name as well as the alarm priority of the Combi Gateway can be
changed. The monitoring and failure alarm is carried out analogous to the other E*LDS components.
6.4.2 Error codes
In case of an error a two digit error code will be displayed:
E -- 0 - 2 : Indicates that the store computer is running an incompatible firmware. The supplier must be
contacted to obtain compatible firmware for the Combi Gateway or the description how a firmware update is per­
formed for a store computer.
E -- 0 - 6: FLASH defect
Cause: A file required internally cannot be read.
Remedy: Restore the controller to the factory settings, see chapter 6.6.1.3.
If this does not produce the desired result please contact customer services and replace the device.
E -- 4 - 5 : Indicates a CAN bus address conflict. Another controller in the E*LDS system is configured to
the same address as the Combi Gateway. Probably it conflicts with an LDS LAN-Gateway or the LDS CAN bus
adpater. Check register of the CAN bus addresses.
E -- 6 - 0: The Modbus-TCP-Master configuration file is missing (error in the submodule
“Modbus-TCP-Master”)
Remedy: Load the configuration file via the web-based configuration interface in the controller, see chapter
6.6.4.
