4.
SYSTEM INSTALLATION
4.1.
The order of installation
First of all, consider the place where the control panel should be installed, which should be inaccessible
to unauthorized persons, but with the possibility of continuous power supply. Then, you can proceed to
the general action plan. The most important points are presented below:
1.
Prepare the installation diagram taking into account the layout of the control panel (see chapter
4.2. Location of the control panel), keyboard, detectors and other system components.
2.
After temporarily placing the components in the target place, check that all system components -
keyboards, detectors, sirens - have a good signal with the control panel.
3.
If this signal is correct, you can proceed to the proper (permanent) installation of the system
4.
Perform the remaining cable connections.
5.
Connect the battery to the screw terminals BAT+, BAT- and then the external power supply 16-20 V
AC to the screw terminals AC, AC.
6.
Program the control panel functions. The programming procedure is described in the system
programming manual using the EBS Config 2.0 application.
7.
Check the system operation again.
4.2.
Location of the control panel
When installing the alarm control panel with the radio module, the installer should take into account
two very important rules:
1.
The place of installation should be inaccessible and invisible to unauthorized persons from outside,
2.
The control panel should be installed in the middle part of the building.
The central position of the device usually ensures good communication with all wireless detectors (see
figures below).
