Object 6C01hex – Work Area Low Limit

The object 6C01 

hex

 defines the value for the lower count limit (

 see also Set count limits 

(page 36)). 

In the event of an underflow, bit 2 in Object 6C00hex – Area State Register (page 144) and bit 
6 in Object 5803hex – Encoder Flags (page 112) are set. 

The object corresponds to object 6401

hex

 in accordance with CiA DS-406.

Note

If the count limits are loaded with (REG_CNTx_HILIMIT) 

 (REG_CNTx_LOLIMIT), 

the value is transferred and an error message is recorded in the REG_CONFIG_ 
ERRSTS (CNTx) (page 81).

If a count limit is set so that the actual count value is outside the count range, the 
current value is set to the count limit which is closest to it. In this case 

no

 error mes-

sage is recorded in register REG_CONFIG_ERRSTS.
