Direct access to firmware upgrade from the front
Maintenance Port
If you are connecting to the PRC-E controller over the front
Maintenance Port, the IP address of the PRC-E controller
will always be: 192.168.222.1. The PRC-E controller shall
automatically assign the IP address to the computer
connected to the front Maintenance Port. Open the
Internet browser, and in the Address field type (
Figure 46
):

Press Enter key to continue to access the Upgrade Device

Firmware webpage
When you are connected to the PRC-E controller webpages,
you can access the Upgrade Device Firmware webpage
using a link built into the System Configuration webpage.
This way you do not need to remember the direct address/
name of the Update Device Firmware webpage.
Connecting to the PRC2000E/PRC1500E controllers
over the Ethernet network
Open the Internet browser, and in the Address field type
the IP address of the controller you are trying to connect
to (

Press Enter key to continue with the connection to
the controller.

If you are connecting to the PRC-E controller over the front
Maintenance Port, the IP address of the PRC-E controller
will always be: 192.168.222.1. The PRC-E controller shall
automatically assign the IP address to the computer

Once connected to the PRC-E controller, you will be
presented with the main webpage—Breakers. Click on
the System Configuration tab (
Figure 49
), and then on the
Version tab (
Figure 50
