When manual dates are entered, it will be required
that a user edits the date any time it changes for a
particular year.
Setting the location
The location coordinates are used to automatically calculate
the sunrise and sunset times for a given area.
Common location entry
A list of common cities is included for quick configuration.
Click the city field.
This will display a dropdown list of the common cities.
Scroll down the list and click to choose the city in your
vicinity. The location coordinates will be automatically
inserted in the appropriate fields.
Once the Date/Time, DST and/or Location configuration
edits are complete, click the “Save Changes” button to save
the changes.
Manual location entry
If there is no city in the list in close proximity of your
location, manual coordinate inputs can be entered. You can
find out your coordinates from the local newspaper, Google
Maps, etc.
Click the “City” field.
This will display a dropdown list of the common cities.
Click to choose “Manual Location”.
Click the “Latitude” entry field.
This will open the textbox for edit.
Input the latitude coordinates.
Click the “Longitude” entry field.
This will open the textbox for edit.
Input the Longitude coordinates.
Click the “Time Zone” entry field.
Click the up/down arrows beside the time zone field to input
the time zone hours behind GMT.
This will open the textbox for edit.
Input the time zone hours behind GMT.
Once all the Location configuration edits are complete, click
the “Save Changes” button to save the changes.
