Modify Button Menu Steps
To customize a button with the Modify Button menu, follow these steps:
1. Select the Modify button (wrench) in the title bar. Once selected, the button symbol will change.
2. Select the button you want to edit. The Modify Button menu will open.
3. To add a new button label (or replace the existing one), select the Label text box (the system
keyboard will open) and then complete the rest of this step:
3a. Enter the new label text.
3b. Select the OK button to close the system keyboard. The new label will appear in the Label
text box in the Modify Button menu.
3c. If the button already has a symbol, it will not be changed. Continue with step 4.
If the button does not have a symbol and the label you entered is not associated with a
symbol, no symbol will be added to the button. Continue with step 4.
If the button does not have a symbol and the label has one associated symbol, the
symbol will automatically be added to the button. The symbol will be displayed beside the
Symbol button in the Modify Button menu. Continue with step 4.
If the button does not have a symbol and the label has more than one associated symbol,
the
Select a Symbol menu will open. Select the symbol you want to use and then select
the OK button. The symbol you selected will be displayed beside the Symbol button in the
Modify Button menu. Continue with step 4.
4. To add a new recorded message (or replace the existing one), select the Record Message
button. The Play Sound... menu will open. If you want to select an existing recording, continue
with step 4a. If you want to create a new recording, continue with step 4b.
4a. To choose an existing recording, scroll through the viewport and highlight the recording
you want to use. (You can also search for a recording. If you want to search for an exact
match, including capitalization, spaces and file extension, select the
Exact Match check
box. Then select the Search text box, enter the name of the recording into the system
keyboard and then select the OK button. The recording will be highlighted in the viewport.)
Continue with step 4f.
4b. To create a new recording, select the New button.
