6.1 STARTING THE SYSTEM

This section assumes the system setting have been configured for Operator testing.

If you are using a printer ensure it is connected to a free USB socket and is switched on.

Switch

on power to the MediTEST (at the rear IEC socket). The system will take approximately 20

seconds to activate before the

FRONT PANEL

is displayed as in Fig 6.1.

Switch on the Compressed air supply. Ensure it is in the range 5.5

7bar (6 bar nominal) pressure.

The system is now ready to start testing packs. It will employ the currently indicated test method,

however, it is advisable to check the validity of the test method before starting any testing. Section 5.6
indicates the Test Method employed at the time of installation. If you need to create or modify a Test
Method refer to Section 7.
