TESTING PACKS
6.5 TEST CYCLE ERROR MESSAGES
The following error messages may be displayed during the running of a test cycle.
If an error is posted, take the suggested action, then press
and restart the test.
If the suggested action does not clear the problem, consult Dynascan for advice or service.
ERROR MESSAGE
CAUSE
ACTION
The Drawer is not closed fully when
the test is started.
Close the Drawer.
The compressed air supply is of
insufficient pressure.
Ensure air supply is connected.
Turn on air supply.
Adjust regulator to 6bar.
The force generated during the test
exceeds the safe range of the sensor.
A pack is being tested that is not
compatible with the Test Method in
use.
The Test Vacuum (Method) is
Check SYSTEM SETTINGS and
ensure sensor settings are correct.
Ensure correct test method is being
used.
The test chamber vacuum drop
exceeds the specified level.
Vac Drop setting too low relative to
the Target Vacuum or Leak Test
Time.
System leak has occurred.
Check SYSTEM SETTINGS and
ensure Vac Drop Setting is correct.
If a leak is suspected check the
Drawer seal condition. Change if
required.
If a system leak is suspected consult
The vacuum has not been created
within the specified time

span.
There is no vacuum being created.
The vacuum pump is not connected.
A system leak has occurred.
Check SYSTEM SETTINGS and
ensure Time Out Setting is adequate.
Ensure the vacuum pump is
connected (electrically and
pneumatically).
If the pump does not activate or if a
system leak (other than Drawer seal)
has occurred consult Cambridge
Sensotec.
