Connection: Set the connection type supported by the server. There are ‘Unsecure
Connection/Use SSL Authentication/Use TLS Authentication’ options.

Port: Input the port number that will be used for email sending.
•
Password: Input the password of the sending account.
•
Interval: For email notification, select how often the system will send out an update email.
•
Email test: Check if the settings were entered correctly. The DVR will send an email and inform
you of the result. The SMTP server may not send an email if the email is received.

Use SSL AUTHENTICATION: In case the SMTP server requires SSL authentication
(e.g., Gmail, Yahoo mail, etc.), select this option.
Snapshot Notify: Send a live snapshot image of a selected channel to the email address. You can
setup the notification to be sent periodically, every setup amount of time.

SENDER Setting (SMTP): Enter the sender settings

Need to set the sender to send an email notification.
•
Outgoing mail SMTP server: Input SMTP server address
•
PORT: Input the port number that will be used for email sending.
•
Email Account Username: Input the username of the
sending account (your email).
•
PASSWORD: Input the password of the sending account.
•
FROM: Input the sender’s email address.
•
EMAIL TEST: Check if the settings were entered correctly.
The NVR will send an email and inform you of the result.
The SMTP server may not send an email if the email is
received.

Use SSL AUTHENTICATION: Incase the SMTP server requires SSL authentication
(e.g., Gmail, Yahoomail, etc.), select this option.
Note Configuration priority is always on the “RECORD > SCHEDULE” menu.
Thus, the system will not email alarm messages upon motion alarm or sensor even though
the checkbox of the above event is checked. To receive motion and sensor email notifications,
set the “SCHEDULE > RECORD”, “EVENT > MOTION ALARM” and “EVENT > SENSOR”
accordingly.
