9. Proximity switch

NOTE

The distance between all proximity switches and the respective
tripping edges must amount to

0.5 mm

Function test 1:

–

Turn on the machine and , by means of the technician code

"1907"

call up the parameter

"F - 173"

"on" .will be displayed

–

At the same time damp ( vaporise) all proximity switches (by the
metal part ). The display will show the message

"oFF"

–

For vaporising remove each time one proximity switch and check
whether the display changes over to

"on"

. If there is no change to

"on"

, the respective proximity switch is defective.

Function test 2:

–

Remove the left side cover of the machine.

–

Remove the control disk.

–

Remove all connections of the proximity switch from the circuit
board

–

Turn on the machine and, by means of the technician code

"1907"

call up the parameter

"F - 173"

. The display will present the

message

"oFF"

–

Establish the connections of the individual proximity switches and
vaporise the respective proximity switch ( by the metal part ). The
display will present the message

"oFF"

. When the metal part is

removed, the display must show

"on.

Otherwise, the ,proximity

switch is defective.

NOTE

The voltage of each output of the proximity switch must amount to

24 V
