4.1.2. Toolbar
The toolbar consists of graphic icons that give access to various functions. Placing the cursor over any of
the icons for a few moments will display a “tool tip” describing the function of the icon.

4.1.3. Tabs
(See Figure 4-1, page 4-1) Below the toolbar are tabs for accessing various operational modes. These tabs
will be described in order (left to right), beginning with the Profile tab on page 4-6.
4.1.4. Main Fader
(See Figure 4-1, page 4-1) The slider at the upper right is the main level control for the XD10P. It works
in conjunction with the fader knob on the front panel of the unit and will follow it, just as the level
indicator on the front panel will follow any movement of this fader control.
The level may be changed from the main screen by placing the cursor over the slider, holding down the
left button on the mouse, and moving the mouse left or right.
4.2. After Connecting to the XD10P
Note : When the computer is connected to the XD10P (see Figure 4-11) the Setup software
takes total control, and the buttons and fader knob on the front panel of the unit will not
respond to user interaction.
After the computer establishes connection to the XD10P, the connection status bar in the lower right hand
corner of the main screen will change from “Disconnected” to “Connected” (Figure 4-11).
