TD-25M EXTRA

TORQUE CONVERTER

25. Install shims pack (34) on the outer race

of bearing (31). Install housing cover (35),
secure with the bolts (35A) and washers
(35B). Apply LOCTITE #243 to the bolts
and torque to 48 ÷ 58 [Nm].

NOTE: Make sure the shims forming the pack
are centrally placed on the bearing outer race
so none of them will get clamped between the
housing cover and the drive housing.

NOTE:

Remove eyebolt (U) prior to torque

converter machine installation

.

26. If gear ring (36) was replaced, install new

gear ring (36) to flywheel and secure with
bolts. Apply LOCTITE #243 to the bolts
and torque to 83 ÷ 101 [Nm].
