To release the UAS belt
push down on UAS belt
adjuster button to loosen
belt.
Unhook UAS from
bar.

With one hand at belt
path, push and pull the
child restraint from side to
side, forward and back. If
the UAS belt does not
loosen, the child restraint
should be secure.
If belt loosens, repeat all
steps. Check your vehicle
owner’s manual or call
DJG Consumer Relations
for help.

UAS belt must be securely fastened. A
loose UAS system could cause serious
injury or death to the child.
Fasten tether hook to the
tether anchor in your
vehicle and pull on loose
end to tighten.

Tether straps are required in Canada. Using
this child restraint without the tether strap
anchored as recommended by the
manufacturer would be a misuse of the
child restraint and in a sudden stop or crash
could cause serious injury or death.
Removing Seat Pad for Cleaning
To Remove Harness:
From the back of the child
restraint, unhook harness
strap loops from splitter
plate.

From the front, pull
harness straps out of the
upper harness slots.
Remove chest clip from
harness straps.
Remove harness straps
from buckle plates.
Holding one harness strap,
pull harness completely
out of lower harness slots.

NOTE:
Pad: Hand wash with warm sudsy water, rinse
clean and air dry. Do not use bleach or other harsh
cleaners. Do not dry clean.
Harness Straps: Spot clean only. Do not machine wash or
hand wash.
