Removing Your Child From the
Child Restraint
Loosen harness by pushing
down on the harness
adjustment lever. Pull out
on harness straps just
above buckle plates.
Depending on your model,
the harness
adjustment
lever may be
under a flap on
the pad in the
front of
restraint.
2
Press the release button
on the chest clip and pull
apart.
3
Press down on the red
buckle release button to
unlock.
Remove child.
WARNING
!
Failure to fasten and tighten the harness
system correctly may allow the child to be
ejected from the child restraint system in a
crash or sudden stop causing serious injury
or death.
5
Note:
To position the
chest clip, move it up or
down so that it is even
with your child’s armpits,
away from the child’s neck.
4
Pull on harness adjustment
strap to tighten harness
system snugly.
Note:
A snug harness is
not loose and lies flat
against the child without
sagging. It does not press
on the child's flesh or push
the child's body into an
unnatural position.
WARNING
!
Do not mistake comfort for safety. Harness
straps must be snugly adjusted.
