restraint and pull up on
shoulder belt to tighten.

Thread vehicle seat belt
under pad in front of
the crotch strap, to the
opposite side. Buckle
vehicle belt.
Note:
DO NOT
PLACE VEHICLE BELT
over the child’s legs.

Make sure
vehicle buckle and belt
are between shell and
side of child restraint as
shown.

When UAS is not in
use, fasten the UAS
hooks on the sides of
the shell as shown.
Place child restraint rear
facing in the back seat in
the fully reclined
position. Make sure the
level lines on the side of
shell are level to ground.
Note:
If vehicle seat has a
downward slope, causing
the child’s head to fall
forward, you may use a
tightly rolled towel or a
foam noodle under the
child restraint where the
vehicle’s bench back meets
the vehicle’s bench seat.

Do not recline the infant restraint beyond
the level to ground line.
Thread the vehicle lap
or lap/shoulder belt
through the rear-facing
belt path.
