Force-quitting an application

From the Home screen,

[Apps].

Tap u [Show system] to show all
applications.

Tap the application to force-stop.

[FORCE STOP]

Read the notes and
tap [OK].
Uninstalling applications

Before uninstalling application, back up
contents you want to save including data
saved in the application.

Tap the application to uninstall.

[UNINSTALL] u [OK].

Information

Some pre-installed applications may not be
uninstalled. For some applications which cannot be
uninstalled, disabling is possible (P.174).

Applications downloaded from Google Play are
recommended to be uninstalled from the Google
Play screen (P.120).

In Step 3, tap

If [UNINSTALL UPDATES] is
displayed, you can restore the application to the
default.
Permissions Change access authorization
setting.
Notifications Change notification setting.
Open by default Clear the setting of default
application.
Battery Check the battery use condition
after the previous full-charging.
Memory Check memory usage amount.
