MINI-LUBE
The mini-lube system lubricates cutting tools in a dissipating manner. Using a spraying process of oil x air
achieves a minimum consumption of lubricant while cooling the tool. Use LB 10000 lubrication oil. For
correct operation of the mini-lube system, six-bar pressurised air supply is necessary.

1. Container for cutting coolant
with Max. and Min. marking.
2. Filling hole with strainer.
3. Piston pump – the amount of
oil is regulated by travel
restriction with a cap nut.
4. Number of travels regulator.
5. Amount of air regulator
6. Block with nozzles – applies
coolant to the band.
5.5.1 SETTING AND ADJUSTMENT
a) Install block (7) into the immediate vicinity of the band so that the side nozzles point at the blades of the
tool.
b) Install the mini-lube on the stationary part of the machine.
c) Connect pressurised air (1) with the inlet screw-coupling. The min. operational pressure is 6 Atm.
d) Connect the connector of pressure valve 24 V DC.
e) After connecting pressurised air and 24 V to the valve coil, the pump starts pulsating. The amount of oil is
adjusted by a combination of the number of cycles on the pump (3), length of travel (2) and amount of air
for oil spray – valve (6).
f) You can determine the correct amount of oil with a testing paper, which you put between the nozzles for
five seconds. After removing, the paper can be:
Greased without dripping oil
O.K.
Running oil drop
Too much oil = reduce the richness to 2, 3
Separate oil drops or dry paper
Low amount of oil = enrich to 2, 3
Dry paper, oil dripping from nozzle
Low amount of oil or low air pressure

CONTROL
The switch selects between:
A) Closed-cycle lubrication system – left.
B) Permanent cooling – middle.
C) Coolant in cycle – right.
