Substance Overview

 

 

Here you will be able to see Serstech’s classification of each substance in the “Factory Databases” as 
to its “Regulatory Type” (

please refer chapter 5.7.7 for more details of “Regulatory Type”)

 

 
Also you will see what Serstech names as “Action Data” for the selected substance. This is typically in 
the format of a standard Material Safety Data sheet.  The text window can be scrolled up and down.   
 
This is the same information that will be displayed on the instrument’s screen in case this substance is 
identified during a scan. 
 
You will also have a visual representation of the NFPA 704 diamond with the NFPA hazardous 
classification for this substance. Clicking on the “diamond symbol” will bring up a generic guide for the 
various NFPA classifications:
