Cleaning
Extreme care must be taken when cleaning the
DISAG RM IV
ring and DFC measuring
machine because it is a precision calibrated measuring instrument. As a general rule it will
be sufficient to clean the machine from time to time with compressed air. The middle cover
can be hinged back for cleaning. Pressurised air spray cans are available from specialist
photographic equipment dealers.
There is no need to open up the housing to any further extent!
Important!
Disconnect the mains plug without fail when the housing of the machine has to
be opened for servicing and cleaning. Work on the inside of the machine is only
to be carried out by trained, skilled personnel of dealers or the manufacturer.
Unprofessional work can endanger life!
The camera sensor can be hinged back to the top for cleaning. The small lever on the right
is used to do this. The lens can be cleaned easily with the sensor in upright position.
