MAIN CONTROL CENTRE (LCB), RELAYS
K1: CONTACTOR
Control contactor for the electric motor
K2:
AUXILIARY RELAY FOR EMERGENCY STOP
Switches off the AC-supply as the emergency stop button is pushed.
K3:
CONTROL RELAY FOR PLATFORM LEVELLING
Levelling of the platform backwards, controlled by the quicksilver switch HG1:1.
K4:
CONTROL RELAY FOR PLATFORM LEVELLING
Levelling of the platform forwards, controlled by the quicksilver switch HG1:2.
K5:
SELECTION OF THE BOOM
The relay controls the selector valve for boom operation 1B, the relay is active during execution of control
movement
K8:
BLOCKING RELAY OF THE "TELESCOPE OUT" MOVEMENT
As the boom is placed onto the support the limit switch RK3 switches off the voltage from the relay K8,
the "telescope out" operation is switched off.
K7: blocking relay of II-speed
The use of II-speed is blocked during levelling of the platform
K10:
BLOCKING RELAY OF RAISING OF THE BOOM
As the boom is placed onto the support the limit switch RK3 switches off the voltage from the relay K10,
the "boom up" operation is switched off.
SR2:
Safety relay for outrigger limit switches
Monitors the operation of the outrigger limit switches as the machine is started.
The relay is active as all outrigger limit switches are closed
If the relay is not active the control circuit to raising of the boom and selector valve of the boom is
switched off.
SR3:
The safety relay for platform levelling, switches of the control voltage from contactor K1 and valve 1B as
the operating range of quicksilver limit switches HG2 or HG3 is exceeded.
