Controlling the projector when Input 8 is being
used
Differences between Input 8 and Inputs 1-7
Input 8 has been designed to offer the user access to a very high bandwidth digital
video path, free of the limitations inherent to standard image processing techniques.
As such, the image is pixel-mapped directly to the DMDs, so only a subset of the
Image Controls applicable to Inputs 1-7 apply to Input 8.
Also, it should be noted that because the High Bandwidth video path for Input 8
bypasses much of the standard video processing, the On Screen Display (OSD) is
not visible when Input 8 has been selected.
Projector level controls, such as input selection, lens and lamp control are all
applicable to Input 8, but modal settings are not. The menus affected are described
below.
