An entry is placed in the Operator Console's Calls Waiting list

The "Your call is being connected" message is sent to the intercom

Once the Operator Console sends audio to the IP Endpoint, its microphone is turned off

When the TalkMaster FOCUS operator activates the Listen button, the IP Endpoint's
microphone automatically switches on so the IP Endpoint's user can operate in Hands Free
mode.

If desired, the Operator can play the recorded audio back by using the Message Player
located at the bottom of the Calls Waiting list

When the TalkMaster FOCUS operator activates the Listen button, the Intercom's
microphone automatically switches on so the Intercom user can operate in Hands Free mode
When the Call Button feature on the IP Endpoints --> General --> Opt2 tab is checked for an IP
Endpoint, The Talk connector's function is changed to a Call button. When the Call button is pressed:

A short signal is transmitted to the Server.

The Server receives the signal.

The Server places an entry in the Calls Waiting Queue of the Operator Console.

The Server sends a signal to play a dual tone beep on the Intercom.

No audio is captured and associated with the entry in the Calls Waiting Queue using this
option.

When the TalkMaster FOCUS operator activates the Listen button, the Intercom's
microphone automatically switches on so the IP Endpoint's user can operate in Hands Free
mode.

Intercoms in Call Button mode play a dual tone beep whenever they connect to the Server.
The Call Button feature should be selected when the IP7's TALK connector is activate for the entire call
(for example, when connected to a magnetometer to detect the presence of an auto at a gate).
eSIP Stand-alone Configuration Steps
Digital Acoustics’ IP7 IP Endpoints support the SIP 2.0 Protocol and can connect to a SIP compliant
Phone System. These instructions explain how to configure IP Endpoints to function as Standalone SIP
Endpoints that do not connect to the TalkMaster FOCUS Server.
The first step is to set the defaults to be used for the IP Endpoint configuration:

