The patient mode (Adult, Pediatric, or Neonatal) automatically defaults to the appropriate setting
based on the patient’s information.
The initial inflation pressure defaults to the appropriate setting for that mode or the previous value for
the current patient.
3. To change any automatic or default settings, tap the desired options.
4. To configure NIBP for the patient manually:
•
Ensure that the correct size and type of cuff is connected.
•
If necessary, select the Mode, Inflate Pressure, or Cuff Position. Selections are highlighted in
orange.
