This section contains instructions for day to day running of the system once the machine has
been set up and adjusted as in Section 2.

The System should only be used by fully trained operating and maintenance personnel.
Management must ensure that operators and service technicians are fully conversant with the
contents of this manual BEFORE being allowed to work with the equipment.

To achieve normal product running conditions carry out the following procedure:
1. Load the material full spool at the side of the machine. Pay particular attention to the
quality of the sleeve/band once loaded.
2. Thread the material over the film slack driver by lifting the film roller assembly against
the applied spring pressure and inserting the material sideways between wheel and film
roller.
3. Continue threading the material over the film roller and into the film sensor, which is
fixed onto two plate.
4. Thread the material over the mandrel and into material feed roller and the cutting unit.
5. Loosen the mandrel support roller and feeding driver roller just enough to thread the
cutting unit without dropping the mandrel. Make sure all blades are facing away from
the mandrel to prevent jamming.
6. Ensure the mandrel is firmly supported by checking all supports and rollers. If the
mandrel can be moved left and right by hand, that means it is not properly installed.
Make sure the mandrel is aligned with film sensor and should be straight vertically.
7. Press AUTO ON to start production.
8. Ensure product is available which will now run through machine in normal production
mode.
9. Check set up by passing approximately ten products through the system prior to a full
production run.
