DESTINATION
keys
When storing internal/external telephone numbers on DESTINATION keys, you have to observe the default
direction (cf. page B-1):
- If your telephone is configured for automatic internal line access and you wish to store an external number,
you must first enter the trunk line identification number/line group number of the telephone number to be
stored. The telephone number is dialled when the handset is lifted and the DESTINATION key is pressed.
- If your telephone is configured for automatic external line access and you wish to store an external
number, you do not have to enter the trunk line identification number/line group number. The telephone
number is dialled when the handset is lifted and the DESTINATION key is pressed.
Making a note
of numbers
You can also use the above procedure in the course of a call to make a note of a number. To do this,
reserve a specific key and mark this with ”Note“, and then note any number you may require.
