Passing a call

on to an

external

subscriber

Provided that this facility has been installed by the DeTeWe service engineer you can also pass on internal
or external calls to another external subscriber. This means that two external subscribers are connected via
your PABX system. 
Please note: Charges for the call are allocated to your telephone.
If you connect two subscribers who are not using ISDN connections in this way, the length of the call is
monitored and is cut off after five minutes.

Replace the handset. The call is transferred.

You can also replace the handset before the other subscriber answers. The call is then indicated and/
or rung on his/her telephone for a while and can be picked up within this time. If the subscriber does
not answer, the call is passed back to you or the operator. 
You can also transfer a call being held by again pressing the key used to start the enquiry (INTERNAL
EXTERNAL or R key). You can also transfer a call using the service menu (cf. page C-7) or a specially
programmed key.

Accepting a call

In addition to calls being “passed on”, they can also be transferred by the other party “accepting” the call.
In order to accept a call being offered to you, press the call key which you are currently using to telephone
(
