Answering calls

Telephoning

Answering calls

... by lifting the
handset

Calls which can be answered by simply lifting the handset are indicated by the fact that the

symbol

on the

appropriate key blinks and also by a corresponding message text in the display (e.g. external call). The call
is also signalled acoustically.

The telephone rings.

symbol blinks.

Lift the handset.

Make your call ...

It is also possible to press the key on which the

symbol

blinks without lifting the handset. This

switches your telephone to “hands-free“ mode and you are connected to the caller immediately.

Several calls

If you receive several calls all at the same time, the

symbol

on the key for the first call blinks and the

symbol on the key for the second call blinks. If you do not wish to answer the first call but another call

instead, you must proceed as follows:

The telephone rings.

and

Hold down LOUDSPEAKER key
and lift the handset.

e.g.

Release the LOUDSPEAKER key and
press the desired call key.

It is also possible to press the appropriate call key without lifting the handset. This switches your
telephone to “hands-free“ mode and you are connected to the caller immediately.
