During a call

Service menu

Conference

If your telephone is authorized to use this service, it is possible to hold a telephone conference (with up to
three participants). Both internal and external subscribers can take part in a conference. 
Please note: The option for holding a conference with two external lines must be set up by the DeTeWe
service department. Any of the conference participants can make enquiries to other subscribers or transfer
the conference connection to another subscriber (call forwarding, pick-up).

Initiating a

conference

You are making an internal or
external call.

Call the conference partner in enquiry mode (cf. page B-11) by pressing an INTERNAL/EXTERNAL key or
the R key and dialling the desired number, or by pressing the TEAM key (enquiry connections via PARTNER
keys are not possible in a conference).

Announce the conference.

Call up the menu 

and enter the code numbers, 
or press the programmed key.

P

Each conference member hears an
attention signal, conference takes place.

Leaving the

conference

If one member hangs up, the other conference
members remain connected and can continue their discussions.

Enquiries

during a

conference

During a conference you can call another subscriber in enquiry mode (cf. page B-11 and B-13) by pressing
an INTERNAL/EXTERNAL key or the R key and then dialling the appropriate number; alternatively, you can
press the TEAM key or the PARTNER key. When you want to return to the conference, simply press the key
for the conference which is on hold (key for which the

symbol blinks); or 

Passing on the

conference line

if you wish to pass the conference on to another subscriber, either hang up (in enquiry mode) or press the
key for the line on which you are currently speaking (

V

symbol on). You can only pass the conference line

on after first speaking to the other subscriber. Conferences can also be taken over by an internal subscriber;
to do this, he/she must press the key for the line on which he/she is currently speaking (

V

symbol on).
