Important system facilities
Several telephones in a room can be joined in a ”pick-up“ group. When another telephone
within your group rings you can pick up the call on your telephone.

Another telephone rings. Lift the handset. Press the program key. Press
numeral keys 8, 2. You are connected with the caller.
If another telephone which is not in your group rings, you can still pick up this call.

Another telephone rings. Lift the handset. Press the program key, then the
numeral keys 8, 3. Dial the number of the other telephone. You are
connected with the caller.
Internal callers who wish to speak to you urgently while you are already telephoning can
send a call-waiting signal. When you hear this signal you can interrupt the current
conversation in order to respond to the call-waiting signal. Similarly, if you wish to speak to
someone on an internal extension urgently, but the line is busy, you can send out a call-
waiting signal.
HRH
You are on the phone and hear the call waiting signal. Press the query key.
You are connected with the person sending the call waiting signal. The first call is held.
HLH
Press the internal key. You are again connected with the original caller.

You have called an internal extension. The line is busy. Press the program
key and then the numeral keys 8, 1. The person on the other extension
hears the call waiting signal and can interrupt his present conversation in
order to speak to you.
