) from the cylinder tube.
(Step 2)
Carefully remove the piston seal from the cylinder tube with a small screwdriver.
8.
(Fig.7.5.6)
Cleaning and checking the piston bearing surface in the cylinder tube and the seal seat (
marked in red
). If
material deposits are not completely eliminated or if signs of wear and tear become noticeable, the
complete brass housing must be replaced. Check the two O-rings (
5
) for damage or wear and replace if
necessary.
NOTE:
If damage or wear is evident in the cylinder tube on the piston bearing surface, the piston must
also be checked for wear.
(see section: "Checking / replacing the piston")
9.
Insert the new piston seal into the cylinder tube and grease it. Carefully screw in the clamping nut to press it into the seal
seat. (
Do not tighten the clamping nut, just turn it loosely
).
10.
Lubricate the cylinder tube in the area of the two O-rings (
5)
(see Fig.5.5.6)
and push it back fully into the pump housing in the
correct position and secure it with the threaded pin.

Fig.7.5.7
Fig.7.5.8
2.
(Fig.7.5.7)
Screw down the material container, this must only be done using the holder

Disassembly of the piston
(Step 1)
Loosen the hexagon nut (1) and unscrew the piston (2)
completely.
(Step 2)
