7.3 Lubrication of the mechanics
NOTE:
•
Manufacturer's recommendation for the product in question: Mobilux EP2 (NLGI 2)
•
Before lubricating the mechanism, the drive unit of the product must be turned off and disconnected from the
mains. It must not be possible to turn the machine on!
Lubrication intervals:
•
After the first
15 hours
of operation a manual lubrication should be carried out! Following this, an interval of
30 hours
is
sufficient.
Test interval for grease filling:
•
check after the first
15 hours of operation
. The intermeshing of the gears can lead to abrasion and thus to contamination of
the grease filling. If the degree of contamination is high, the grease filling must be completely renewed. Following this, a test
interval after every
50 operating hours
is
sufficient.
The grease filling should be replaced:
•
when there is a high degree of contamination, but at the latest after
100 operating hours.

This can be done using a standard grease gun with a
corresponding mouthpiece.
•
2 strokes over the designated lubrication connection (1)!
In this case, only the area marked in red is lubricated!
Manual lubrication (mandatory)
2.
Remove one of the two side protection plates.
3.
The grease can be applied to components (2), (3) & (5) using
a brush.
•
Every 15-20 hours of operation is sufficient!
7.4 Checking and tightening important mechanical fasteners
NOTE:
•
Before checking and tightening the mechanical fasteners, the drive unit of the product must be switched off and
the machine disconnected from the mains. It must not be possible to turn the machine on!
