7.5 Testing & replacing wear parts
Wear parts (components) should be replaced:
•
if output is noticeably reduced.
•
As soon as there is damage or wear to the relevant wear parts.
Note:
•
Only use genuine replacement parts!!!!
•
Threaded joints that were sealed together must be re-sealed!
Recommendation:
Use WEICON Lock 305-77 yellow or Loctite 577 yellow.

The medium still in the machine must be completely removed from the machine.

Make sure the machine is de-energised and depressurised. (Mains plug must be disconnected!!)

Loosen both hexagonal nuts on the safety clamp
(detail "B" marked in red)
and pull the complete
drive unit upwards out of the holder.

Disconnect the material hose and the return line by unscrewing the respective union
fitting.
ATTENTION:
This can lead to leakage of pressurised liquids!

Remove one of the
two side protection plates by
unscrewing the four cylinder
screws. Carefully slide the
opening of the special open ring
spanner (SW17) over the piston
rod and loosen the clamping nut
via the hexagon

Disassembly of the complete pump unit
(Step 1)
Completely unscrew the threaded pin (
1
) screwed into the side of the housing (
see detail "C"
).
(Step 2)
Turn the pump body slightly to remove it completely from the housing.
