Carefully drill the ball links with a #46 bit ... you may
need to squeeze a bit to keep it from rotating. Also
drill the hinges with the #46 bit.
Using a piece of 2-56 all thread and four nuts, assem-
ble the cylinder to the hinges. When satisfied, use a
drop of CA on each nut to secure it.
Use 2-56 all thread and four nuts to attach and position cylinder. A drop
of CA will hold the nuts in place.
Mark and cut out openings for the speed brake hinges
as shown.
Using a 90 degree angle bit and a small grinder, route
slots in the former for the hinges. You will need to
take the slot down to the fiberglass to get the hinges
to lay flat, so work carefully. A fair amount of patience
is required here.
Rout holes for speed brake assembly using your Dremel and 1-16 cutter
bit. Smooth with a file.
Using a grinder bit in a 90 degree attachment for the Dremel, rout a slot
for the speed brake hinges. You may need to temporarily undo the nose
door cylinders to open up the doors fully for access.
