Operating the Unit
The unit can be operated via the Viewer menus, the optional KBC2/U keyboard or with a USB PC
Keyboard and USB mouse. The camera images can also be viewed and accessed remotely via
the webpages of the Uniplex Desktop NVR
and the ‘Viewer’ menu option.
Operating the Viewer
Navigation is via a colour coded softkey system. The coloured menu provides an intuitive
approach to operator and installer use. The softkeys will be displayed in the bottom right hand
corner of the screen, driven from the monitor output.
To display the softkeys position the mouse cursor in the bottom right-hand corner of the screen
and left-click. You can then choose the required function by clicking on the corresponding
coloured softkey
The same colour coded keys may be used on a KBC2/U keyboard, if connected to the NVR.
Note: The screen images shown throughout this section are those displayed on a local monitor. If
viewing remotely via the webpages, the menu layout will differ slightly.
The function of the keys will change according to whether the unit is in Live or Playback mode.
To display the colour coded menu options, press the OK button on the front panel of the NVR or
click the left button of a USB mouse connected to the NVR
