Installation

The Uniplex Appliance NVR should be physically installed using the guidelines given in the

“Important Safeguards” section of this manual i.e. attention should be given to the following

factors when physically installing the NVR:

Power Sources

A UPS should be used to supply both the NVR and the multi-drive storage

unit

•

Servicing

•

Ventilation

•

Remote Connectivity

NetVu provides a range of post-installation remote support services including
24-hour online health check, fault reporting and ticketing, software upgrade, bug
fixes, patches and automated archiving of event recordings. In order to take
advantage of these services remote connectivity must be provided.
