Installing the DV-IP Express Unit
This procedure shows the sixteen camera input version.
Step 1 Connecting Video
The DV-IP Express supports up to 8, 12 or 16 connected Video Inputs (dependant on model) via the
75Ω �NC connectors. Connect cameras to the �ideo inputs, starting from input 1.
�ll �ariants ha�e two rows of connectors pro�iding �ideo input and loop-through support. �t
is possible to use either the top or bottom row of connectors; For consistency and quality of
installation, D� recomend one row is used for �ideo inputs and the other for all required loop-
through connections onto other pieces of equipment e.g. monitors and matrices. onto other pieces of equipment e.g. monitors and matrices.
Note: Remember the last piece of equipment in line must be terminated.
Double termination (not remo�ing termination from the unit) will result in the 1� peak to peak �ideo
signal being crushed. This can reduce the colour rendition of the �ideo source and may cause the
�ideo signal not to be detected by the last piece of equipment i.e. the signal is no longer 1� peak-
to-peak.
