Position the drum as shown and smooth the three horizontal
surfaces with a file.
Identify the burrs on these castings, highlighted by the red circles
or red arrows, and remove them with wet and dry paper. Be
careful when smoothing the burrs not to change the shape of
the blue circled areas as these are used during assembly.
Position all the castings onto cardboard and spray with metal
primer. When dry, spray again with gray paint.
