4.2.7.4 Temperature Sub-menu
This screen allows you only one choice: let it auto-refresh every 5 seconds. Press “q”
and then “Enter” to return to the main Statistics menu. This screen displays the
temperature at various points in the switch. The chip temperatures displayed are from
monitor diodes in the FPGA dies, so they are ACTUAL die temperatures. The board
ambient is from a temperature sensor located approximately in the middle of the base
board. This temperature sensor is located to the right of the middle FPGA, when the
switch is held with the front panel on the left and P1/P2 connectors on the right.

4.2.8 Flash Programming Main Menu
This menu allows you to select one of six choices. All choices except for items 4 and
9 require the Flash Write Enable jumpers TB5 1-2 and TB10 1-2 to be on the main
switch card, otherwise the Flash will NOT be reprogrammed. Selection 9 can reboot
the switch so that downloads of new fabric and/or port chip code can take effect.
Caution: Choice 3 will start storing the current configuration as soon as you select it,
it does NOT have a “Are you sure Y/N” dialog choice after you select choice 3!
