being port #0, etc. Frames mapped to this route will be sent out each port whose bit
is set in this mask. The Type field must be set to 2 (multicast) if multiple bits are set
in this field or the WKA =1. There is a space between the command and value.
Range: 0x0000 – 0xFFFF
Format: Hexadecimal
This field is the equivalent of the

configuration menu (section 4.2.5.8).
PTM XXXX
Port Mask Select field: each bit corresponds to a port. This routing entry will be
written to each port whose bit is set in this mask. Writing the routing entry to
SPECIFIC port is useful for debugging, but for normal operation set this field to
0xFFFF (see last sentence). Simultaneously, this route will be written into the master
Routing Table. If the routing table is subsequently written to Flash, this route will be
loaded into ALL ports after reset or power cycling has occurred.
Range: 0x0000 – 0xFFFF
Format: Hexadecimal
This field has no equivalent in the interactive routing table configuration menu
(section 4.2.5.8) and is automatically set to all ones when the routing table entry is
written.
