AGC - Automatic Gain Control
Each analogue video input board has an automatic gain control circuit, which can be applied to composite
video and S-Video (Y/C) inputs only. The AGC circuit stabilises the video level and optimises the image.
The AGC can be switched On or Off, as there may be occasions where signals contained in the incoming
signal interfere with the operation of the circuit.
Press the Settings Key to call up the Set Up Menu, highlight 2. VIDEO IN and press the Enter Key.
Highlight VIDEO_IN CH and press the Enter Key, the Channel number will be highlighted. Use the
Adjustment Knob to select the Channel No. that you want to adjust (1 ~ 8) and then press the Enter Key.
You will see that AGC On/ Off is only available with CV or Y/C inputs, all other types of input will show AGC
= NC
Having selected the Channel No. use the Adjustment Knob to scroll down and highlight 6. AGC Press the
Enter Key so that the AGC ON / OFF is highlighted and then use the Adjustment Knob to set it to ON or
OFF. Once set press the Enter Key.
