Modifying the appearance of the Control Panel
There are a number of settings which alter the way the Control Panel looks; you can set these to your own
preference, or to suit the environment you’re working in.
Press the Settings Key to call up the Set Up Menus and highlight option 10. CONTROLLER. Press the Enter
Key to call up the CONTROLLER SETTING Menu
1. LCD CONTRAST
- This increases or decreases the contrast of the LCD display. To adjust the setting,
highlight 1. LCD CONTRAST and press the Enter Key. Use the Adjustment Knob to change the setting and
then press the ESC Key to exit.
2. LCD BRIGHTNESS
- This increases or decreases the brightness of the LCD display. To adjust the
setting, highlight 2. LCD BRIGHTNESS and press the Enter Key. Use the Adjustment Knob to change the
setting and then press the ESC Key to exit.
3. REMOTE MODE
- RS 232 is the only remote mode at present.
4. SWITCH COLOR
- This changes the default colours of the keys on the Control Panel. The default value is
NO SWAP, the inactive keys are green and active keys are red. The alternative is SWAP where the inactive
keys are red and the active keys are green.

To change the setting, highlight 4. SWITCH COLOR and press the Enter Key. Use the Adjustment Knob to
change the setting and then press the ESC Key to exit.
5. SWITCH BRIGHTNESS
- This increases or decreases the brightness of the keys. To adjust the setting,
highlight 5. SWITCH BRIGHTNESS and press the Enter Key. Use the Adjustment Knob to change the
setting and then press the ESC Key to exit.
6. TEST KEY
- This is just a tool for checking that keys are working correctly.
