Powering On
To switch the SE-900 on there are two power switches, one on the front of the Base Unit, and the other on
the rear of the Control Panel.
Base Unit On / Off Switch
Control Panel On / Off Switch
Make sure that the 12V 10A power supply is connected to the Base Unit, and to a suitable AC Mains outlet.
The control panel is supplied with a 12V 1200mA power supply, however if you are using a short connection
between the Base Unit and the Control Panel it is not necessary to use it.
With Sub D 9 Pin cables of up to 10m it should not be necessary to use the additional power supply for the
control panel, as power can be drawn from the Base Unit, with longer cables the loss may be too great.
If the connection between the Control Panel and the Base Unit is longer then it will be necessary to use the
Control Panel power supply. Connect the power supply to the Control Panel DC In. Connect the power
supply to a suitable mains electric outlet.
Switch on the Base Unit first, followed by the Control Panel. The SE-900 will start to power up, after about a
minute the Control Panel should be ready to go.
If all of your connections are correctly in place the Control Panel should look something like this:
