5.4.1 RS485 Full-Duplex Interface

The Impact software does not support RS485 protocol.

5.4.2 Auxiliary RS232 Serial Interface

The 9-pin female Auxiliary Interface connector inside the CBX is to be used by Factory and

Support personnel only.

NOTE

Do not make any connections to the Aux Interface.

5.5 ETHERNET INTERFACE

The Ethernet Interface can be used for TCP/IP communication with a remote or local host

computer by connecting the camera to either a LAN or directly to a host PC. There is no need to

use a crossover adapter since the camera incorporates an auto-cross function.

The following is an example of a connection to a LAN using a

CAB-GE0x

straight through cable:
